'A comedy about loneliness and unfulfilled love. Zneidookh wants an exciting bride, but prefers to sleep. Flotsika wants to go to the Rabbinical Authorities at 6am the following morning to beat the crowd. Khrabino wants Flotsika, Ostwind wants Bulba. Zneidookh both wants and renounces Flotsika and Bulba. Flotsika wants and renounces Zneidookh, and possibly Khrabino.'
'Great passions. Burning loves. Filth and intrigue. This play yields no weddings.'
"What’s the dream and what’s reality? What’s serious, what’s nonsense? On one hand eh, and on the other hand meh, and in the middle – me."

Yoel Wulfhart, founder of the Theatre of the NO, writes: "Levin was a visionary; he placed a mirror in front of people and society, and - as expected - the image wasn't pretty. Hilariously funny, with a talented eye and and the ability to express what he saw.
... Wish I was half as talented!"
And it's always this shouting, moaning, writhing, hysteria. But I happen to like it European style, like an English funeral - total silence, light mist, put it into the hole, only a brief commotion, and then home.
"This one sentence is not only funny, but describes the irreconcilable differences among us, among men and women. I remember watching it and laughing from start to finish, I heard the words and they sounded as if they came out of my mouth. I truly desire that do justice to it at the Theatre of the NO."
